Accounting, tax and finance, built for Africa from the receipt up
Decima began with one question: why should a business keep its books twice, once at the counter and again at month end? The answer became an ecosystem. Every Decima product works on the same books, every one is built tax first, and all of it is made in Zimbabwe for Southern Africa and beyond.
Compliance built in, not bolted on
For a small business in our region, staying right with the revenue authority is often the hardest and costliest part of trading. Most software treats tax as a report at the end. Decima starts from the law, and builds the business tools around it.
Every sale is a tax event
Recorded where it happens: fiscalised at the counter, with VAT worked line by line, so nothing has to be reconstructed later.
The books follow the receipts
Double entry at the moment of the sale. At month end there is nothing to type: the return is already there.
Figures that tie
Every report agrees with the books, and the books agree with what went to ZIMRA, to the cent.
Sourced, not guessed
Every rate and threshold is traced to the law and the date it was read, and you confirm it before it is used.
Works where business happens
Offline first, on Windows and on modest Android tablets, in US dollars and ZWG.
Your data, your business
The books live on your machines, and a licence never stops a business trading.

When the books are right, money follows
A small business is often turned away by a lender for the want of books it can prove. Tax-first books are exactly that proof: every sale fiscalised, every figure tied to the authority's own record. We see Decima's books becoming the evidence that opens finance to businesses that have earned it.

- Cash flow from real trading, not estimates
- A record a lender can check against the revenue authority

Built in Zimbabwe, made for the region
Revenue authorities across our region are moving to invoices reported as they happen. Decima's tax-first core was built for exactly that: receipts signed where they are made, and books that tie to the authority. That is how Decima will grow, Zimbabwe first, then one revenue authority at a time.
"A business should never pay twice for its books: once to keep them, and again to have them typed up."
