Is Decima POS built for ZIMRA fiscalisation?
Yes. It is built to ZIMRA's published fiscal device gateway specification and tested against ZIMRA's test gateway before each release. Each business registers its own fiscal device with ZIMRA, and we set it up on your till.
Does it work without the internet?
Yes. Selling, printing receipts and keeping the books all work offline. Receipts wait in order and go to ZIMRA when the connection is back.
What happens if my licence lapses?
You keep selling and fiscalising. What the licence adds pauses until you renew, and nothing is lost.
Where is my data kept?
On your own till and computers. Decima does not hold your books. An encrypted daily backup can go to your own cloud storage.
Can I use it in US dollars and ZWG?
Yes. Each sale can be in either currency at the rate you set for the day, and the books keep both.
Does it take EcoCash and card payments?
Decima POS records EcoCash, InnBucks, card and other payments with their reference. The payment itself is taken on your own phone or card machine as usual.
Does Decima prepare PAYE, NSSA and QPD returns?
Yes, from version 2.3.0. Each month's PAYE return is built from the payroll and goes out in TaRMS's own earnings template, NSSA's P4A comes filled in, and the QPD return is laid out as TaRMS shows it. Every return is checked against the books first. You upload, submit and pay; Decima never logs in to TaRMS or NSSA for you.
Can my accountant work on my books?
Yes. One button exports everything for the period in a single file, and practices on Decima Practice open it already posted.
Can I have more than one till or a back office computer?
Yes. Desks on your shop network work on the counter's books, and each till has its own licence.
Do you support contract work?
Yes. Decima Contractors adds bills of quantities, certificates, retention, withholding tax, plant hire and job costs to Decima POS.
Where are you, and do you come to us?
We have offices in Bulawayo and Harare and install at your premises in both. Elsewhere we set up remotely.
